It started out really bright and sunny so I took advantage and got my lungs full of fresh air, ended up with silly bright red ears. I have had so much air I may sleep like a beauty. I didn’t think to take a hat though so my ears went red and numb. I am a poorly coordinated elf without gloves, red ears do not suit my complexion.
Have put in today a total of 10.8km with my feet and am all the better for it. Went through Highgate with a stop off to buy (hydrangeas I think? whichever they are my boudoir smells delightful), coffee and cake before heading around up down left right and through Hampstead Heath. Nearly became lost when the sun set rather abruptly in a really wooded area. I did begin to wonder if I might have to rub sticks together to make fire and fashion a little shelter to see out the night.
Ended my roaming by walking down to Camden Town.
